CPV Solar Concentration Factor Calculation

Calculation based on CEI 82-25:
The geometric concentration factor (Cg) is defined as the ratio between the collection area of the module and the active area of the receiver.

The energy concentration factor is given by the ratio between solar radiation on the target plane (of cells) and that recorded at the inlet aperture of the module.

This ratio, if the photovoltaic devices of the module behave linearly, can be expressed as the ratio between the short circuit current measured in the module with concentration optics and the short circuit current measured in the module without concentration optics, in the same conditions of direct solar radiation.
