Recognition of 9 different manufacturers showcasing 49 instances of high achievement in manufacturing
Hail Durability Test (HDT) data findings debut and showcase products that receive a Class A rating in RETC’s HDT program.
Industry perspectives on: new N-type PV modules, forensic analysis of field performance, and mitigating extreme weather risks.
Most of the products RETC tested performed well on the basis of LeTID. Approximately 15% of modules tested experienced less than 0.25% power loss. Moreover, 80% of the modules tested experienced less than 0.5% power loss.
As shown in these data, more than 40% of modules that RETC subjected to DH2000 testing in 2021 experienced less than 2% power loss. Since RETC began publishing its PV Module Index Report, we have observed a steady year-over-year improvement in DH tests results.
More than 45% of the modules that RETC subjected to simulated wind and environmental stresses achieved less than 2% degradation in power. Roughly 1/3 of these high-performing modules, or 15% of the total test samples, experienced less than 1% degradation in power after the DML sequence.
Nearly 80% of modules that RETC subjected to TC600 testing in 2021 experienced less than 2% power loss
