CEC Testing

RETC is fully equipped to conduct CEC testing which is required by the State of California to commercial sell PV and other renewable products. PV modules go through a series of tests required by the California Energy Commission (CEC). CEC testing mimics many of the safety and reliability protocols of UL/IEC certification, however, it does require an elevated temperature IV measurement of the module, which is classified at PVUSA Test Conditions (PTC).
