RETC Welcomes David Brearley as Product Marketing Manager

The Renewable Energy Test Center (RETC) is pleased to announce that David Brearley has joined the RETC family. The SolarPro magazine veteran will lead strategic communications and content marketing initiatives for both VDE Americas and RETC, a member of the VDE Group.

During a decade-long tenure as the senior technical editor at SolarPro, a trade publication covering the North American market, Brearley developed and published unparalleled technical content for solar industry stakeholders. Subsequently, he specialized in content strategy and production at Mayfield Renewables, a technical consultancy serving the solar and energy storage industries. 

“David’s ability to bridge the gap between marketing and engineering is unique,” says John Sedgwick, CEO of VDE Americas. “VDE is providing the industry’s major renewable energy investors, developers and manufacturers with engineering services to assess, model and mitigate technical and financial risks. We will leverage David’s experience to clearly articulate the complex risk factors inherent to large renewable energy assets and to develop and deliver more efficient products and services.”
